If the jackpot is not won, it increases by that amount for the next week until the jackpot is won. Monday Lotto is a lotto game played in all states and territories, except Queensland. The first draw took place in 1979, making it one of the oldest lotto games around. In South Australia, this game is known as X Lotto.
How to play Monday Lotto
Since April 2004, the game has been identical to Saturday Lotto where the player chooses six numbers between 1 and 45 in a box. You can play as many boxes as you like and each one will set you back approximately 55 cents with a minimum of two boxes to play.
Six numbers and two supplementary numbers are then drawn from a barrel containing the 45 numbers and to win lotto, you need to have a combination of the following:
